An Old Finish

 This is Maidens of the Sea by With my Needle. I stitched it on 28 ct Silkweaver evenweave in 2008. Since the color of the fabric resembled the ocean so well I did quite a few color changes and stitched most of it in various variegated flosses. It is a scissor holder and needle minder.

 This pattern reminds me of all the trips my family used to make to the Florida Keys so I stitched this as a gift for my mom.
She loves it and every time I go to her house I see it out near the things she uses on a daily basis.
